Platinum Bank presented its Sustainable Development Report named “2011: Path to Sustainable Future”, in accordance with the international standard “Global Reporting Initiative” (version G3), the level «B» of assignment. Every year, the Bank reports on compliance with the principles of the UN Global Compact.
On the 5th of November a new advertising campaign from Platinum Bank the "Feast of Simple Purchases" was launched. The main massage of the campaign reads "It Was Never so Easy to Shop!". The advertising campaign is aimed to promote bank's retail loans thanks to which the commodities will cost only 99 UAH/month for small purchases and 199 UAH/month for major purchases.
From September 2012 a new system BUYER Pro that allows to organise a tender scheme on transparent and open basis was introduced in Platinum Bank. Four tenders were already held thanks to this system. Transparency of it is in excluding of human factor from the process of choosing the company. The participants do not see the name of the competitor but can see the best price and step rate.
Platinum Bank, within the project of electronic document management and in compliance with the Law of Ukraine “On electronic digital signature”, introduced into its daily operations the usage of e-signature for credit findings, considerably decreasing the time for getting a loan by its clients.
Platinum Bank became the only Ukrainian bank which, due to the smart combination of originality, systemic approach and humanity in financial matters, entered the “10 Inspiring Companies” rating of the magazine “Companion”.

On the 6th of August 2012 Platinum Bank started an extensive advertising campaign "Rules of Fair Deposits". During the campaign major TV channels and radio stations, national and regional media will be engaged, as well as promotions in the branches and centres of service.
From the 2nd of July 2012 Platinum Bank offers to its clients new increased interest rates on the UAH deposits for individuals. The rates on the “Cash Every Month” and “Desired Increase” deposit programs have risen most significantly.
A credit card “Gold Fish” was activated by more than 12 thousand clients of Platinum Bank. These are the intermediate results of the loyalty program, which Platinum Bank has been conducting for the last 4 months among its clients.
On July the 14th 2012 World Blood Donor Day, Platinum Bank jointly with Kiev Region Blood Transfusion Centre and Ukrainian Health Organization conducted a promotional event “Donorship from Platinum Bank”. A blood collection mobile centre was organised in the Head Office of the bank where 74 employees became donors.
IMB Group Public Limited (herewith “Platinum Bank”) finished fiscal year 2008 with a consolidated net loss of $ 4.90 million compared with a consolidated net loss of $ 8.21 million in 2007. In addition, Platinum Bank finished the year with over $38 million in cash and cash equivalents and it’s Ukrainian bank subsidiary finished the year with over 68% banking capital adequacy.
In April 22, 2009 a general shareholders meeting of JSC «First All-Ukrainian Bureau of Credit Histories» took place. Platinum Bank is one of the shareholders of the Bureau. At the meeting Platinum Bank has been the most active participant in working with the Bureau in the transfer of credit information to the database of the Bureau, making queries to credit histories, as well as maximizing the use of other instruments of Credit Bureau in order to minimize credit risks, with this encouraging other market players to do likewise.
At April 14, 2009, a press-conference «Platinum Bank takes crisis in allies» took place, it was devoted to the official start of the process of Platinum Bank re-branding. The press conference was attended by Greg Krasnov, General Director of Platinum Bank, Elena Frankivska, Sales Director, Member of the Board of Platinum Bank and Todd Esposito, Finance Director, Member of the Board of Platinum Bank. Special guest was Natalia Yaresko, managing partner and co-founder of Horizon Capital, the main shareholder of Platinum Bank, that holds 31.4% stake in the bank.
At March 11, 2009 in accordance with the requirements of the new edition of the Law of Ukraine «On banks and Banking» CJSC «International Mortgage Bank» was registered as OJSC «Platinum Bank» in a single register of enterprises and institutions of Ukraine.In compliance with regulatory requirements of current legislation of Ukraine to the legal form of the bank coincided with the beginning of the process of rebranding CJSC «MIB». Thus, a shift to a new legal form and consolidate a new bank brand - Platinum Bank took place.
At February 25, 2009 Platinum Bank (formerly JSC «International Mortgage Bank») and the Fund for Eastern Europe open two computer classrooms, Kryviy Rig.The representatives of Platinum Bank and the Fund for Eastern Europe transfer to ownership the equipment, which was used by bank, to home-school #1 and the social organization «Shelter».
