Platinum Bank sumps up the year of 2012
In 2012 Platinum Bank demonstrated the achievement of set goals in accordance with the strategy of its focused retail development. Throughout the year the bank was expanding its product range, offering its clients advantageous conditions and solutions in crediting and depositing, introducing to the market its innovational internet-bank Platinum Click, as well as actively developing corporate social responsibility projects.
One of the most important and expected events of the past year was the launch of a new internet-bank for individuals - Platinum Click. Remote banking services turn banking products into real mass products: for clients – it’s the simplest way to manage their funds, and for the banks – the most profitable service system. With its maximum simplicity, understandable even for the least experienced user, Platinum Click fully meets these requirements. Its main idea is “The bank is one click away from you”. It’s targeted at people, who value their time and don’t wish to waste it for a trip to the branch office, who want to make money and don’t like complicated bank products. Platinum Click clients also get quite a few bonuses: additional 0.5% to the interest rate if they open a deposit through internet-bank themselves; a special product, available only for the internet-bank clients, “Savings account” - 15% annual rate on the account balance; the fee for external payments - 2 UAH for a transfer to any other bank’s account irrespective of the sum transferred.
Also, 2012 saw the introduction of Electronic Document Management System. E-signature was introduced into the working process and the digital archive of Platinum Bank started its full functioning. The digital archive of Platinum Bank reduced threefold the time for searching and processing information, decreased operational costs, increased information security and sped up the exchange of data between departments. The introduction of EDMS allowed the bank to considerably simplify the processing and storage of big volumes of information, as well as to serve the clients at any of Platinum Bank branch offices, irrespective of where the product was initially activated.
Besides, last year Platinum Bank opened three new branch offices: in Sevastopol, Poltava and Vinnytsya, thus forming in Ukraine a network of 72 full-fledged branch offices, as well as 51 service centres in malls and more than 1,500 loan provision desks. In the branch offices of Platinum Bank you can not only make a deposit or get a loan, but also receive a piece of financial advice, obtain help with choosing most suitable banking services and get a consultation regarding your most acute financial issues.
Key achievements of 2012
But these are not all the indicators of the successful development of Platinum Bank. In 2012 the bank received a number of awards and held high positions in prestigious national ratings. As such, according to the “GVardia” publication, it obtained #1 position in the rating of transparency and systematic approach in financial sector; entered the TOP-10 of the most reliable banks according to “Expert” publication, and in the rating done by “Kommersant” publication – “50 Leading Banks of Ukraine” – occupied a respectable position #30.
Platinum Bank was recognized as “Inspiring Company” according to “Kompanion” publication for its skilful combination of outside-the-box, systematic approach and humanism in financial relations, as well as occupied the 4th place out of 30 in the rating of “the most on-line” banks of Ukraine, according to “Investgazeta”.
In 2012 Greg Krasnov, Chief Executive Officer with Platinum Bank, became the “Financier of the Year” within the framework of the project “Person of the year”, obtained the first place in the project “Responsible Leadership” and became the winner in nomination “Marketing-oriented CEO” of “X-Ray Marketing Awards” project.
