“Platinum Standards” is listed in the TOP-3 of CSR cases in the “Corporate management” nomination
Platinum Bank took part in the National Competition of Corporate Social Responsibility Business Cases which was held for the fourth time by the “CSR Development” Centre. According to the results of the vote, the “Platinum Standards” case, presented by the bank, is listed in the Top-3 of the “Corporate management” nomination. “Platinum Standards” is the code of practice which regulates everyday activities of the bank’s employees in accordance with the principles of corporate social responsibility.
It’s a sort of handbook, a guide which allows new employees to join the team easily, to organize their work and interactions within the department, and, in the whole, helps all employees to better understand the principles and rules of the company’s activities in order to adhere to them in their everyday work.
The elaboration of “Platinum Standards” was carried out taking into consideration the universal principles of equal opportunities in various aspects – no discrimination according to race, gender, age, creed, sexual orientation or physical abilities of employees – with taking into account the issues of ethnic nature and confidentiality.
“Adherence to “Platinum Standards” creates the atmosphere in which all employees have the opportunity to make progress enhancing their professional skills, to realize their potential and, at the same, to fulfil their obligations – in particular, towards the community. As such, all our employees, having simple and comprehensive regulations for their work, are confident in their secure future and know exactly what to expect from their colleagues and management”, - comments Denis Brodsky, Chief HR Officer with Platinum Bank.
It’s the third year in a row that Platinum Bank is taking part in the corporate social responsibility business case competition. Last year, the case by Platinum Bank “Program for the employment of people with special needs” also was listed in the Top-3 of nominees in the “Human rights” category.
