    • How to repay the loan?

      First of all, we would like to thank you for your responsible attitude towards your contractual obligations.

       

      To repay your loan you can use one of the following options for payment instalment:

       

      1. Personal account “My Credit”

      Repay your loan at any time convenient to you with the help of a plastic card of any bank in any currency. It is important to check beforehand for the limitations on internet operations on your card. Payment is subject to 2% cmmission from the amount of the payment.

       

      2. Internet bank PtClick

      Transfer your funds from the current account or card account in the system of internet bank to the banking details, given in the credit agreement. The service is free of charge.

       

      3. Self-service terminals

      Such can be found at some branch offices of Platinum Bank. The addresses of terminals you can find here. No cmmission is charged for the transaction.

       

      4. Cash desk at a branch office of Platinum Bank

      !ATTENTION PLEASE! Stating your personal data and the data of your loan agreement in the “purpose of payment” is obligatory.

  • Deposits
    • What is the process of deducing the deposit income tax?

      The law stipulates the following mechanism for deducing the tax:

      - the tax is deduced at every interest accrual in the amount of 15%. The client receives the interest minus the tax deduced (interest, accrued before 01.08.2014, but paid after 01.08.2014, is not subject to this taxation);

      - as for the foreign currency deposits, the tax is deduced from the interest, re-calculated into UAH according to the official rate of the NBU as of the date of interest accrual;

      - in case of early termination of the deposit agreement and interest re-calculation in accordance with the penal rate, the Bank re-calculates the tax sum, to be deduced from such income;

      - the Bank is a withholding agent and it deduces the tax and transfers it to the budget. The clients are not obliged to submit to the STA tax declarations regarding such income;

      - every quarter the Bank will submit a report, in which the information subject to bank secrecy in relation to each client will not be disclosed.

    • Should we expect an abrupt change in deposit interest rates?

      Interest rate changing is done in its standard mode. Forming and changing interest rates is an on-going process, depending on the market. Foreseeing when the next change is to happen is rather difficult. Current interest rates of our bank for the deposits can be found here.

    • Can I refuse to prolong the deposit?

      Yes, you can refuse to prolong the deposit. It’s a standard procedure. To do so, you need to turn to any bank’s branch office and make a written request. The branch office managers will provide you with a detailed consultation at the spot. 

    • Can I withdraw my deposit in UAH after the end of its term?

      Yes, you can take back your savings after the end of your deposit’s term. To do so, you need to:

      • Make a written request at the bank’s branch office for the cancellation of the automatic deposit prolongation minimum two working days before the end of the deposit’s term.
      • If the amount of your deposit exceeds 25,000 UAH, you also need to make a written request to pre-order cash for the withdrawal of the deposit. We’ll need two working days to prepare the cash for you.
      • After that you can get your funds at the cash desk of the bank.

      You can also prolong your deposit on beneficial terms.

    • How can I close my deposit early?

      Yes, you can close your deposit early. To do so, you need to:

      • Make a written request at the bank’s branch office for the early termination of the deposit. Processing it will take 5 working days.
      • If the amount of your deposit exceeds 25,000 UAH, you need to make a written request to pre-order cash for the withdrawal of the deposit. We’ll need two working days to prepare the cash for you.

      After that you can get your funds at the cash desk of the bank.

    • Can I withdraw the whole amount of funds from the USD deposit?

      Yes, you can withdraw the whole amount of funds from your USD deposit. It is important to remember that, according to the National Bank of Ukraine Decree No. 758 of 03.03.2015, you can withdraw no more than 15,000 UAH in foreign currency equivalent (according to the NBU exchange rate) per one day. Remaining funds can be withdrawn in UAH equivalent, according to the commercial exchange rate of the bank. 

      Platinum Bank does everything possible for the convenient cooperation and provision of maximum access to one’s funds for every client in accordance with the regulations of the National Bank of Ukraine and current legislation.

    • Are there any limits and restrictions for card payments?

      Yes, to ensure safety and protection of your funds the Bank set daily transaction restrictions (limits), depending on the type of payment card and place of card use (ATM cash withdrawal, payments by card in sales and service networks and via Internet).

      Restrictions are active for 1 day. Information about standard limits can be learned from our Contact Center at number 0800308308, at any branch of our Bank or in Tariffs to your card.

    • Can I withdraw cash from a credit card at the bank cash department?

       Unfortunately no. The general situation in the country forced us to temporarily "froze" the limit of the credit cards, but not cards themselves (plastic).

    • Why cant I withdraw cash from my credit card?

      Restrictions on credit limits are provisional measures, which are related to optimization of the Bank internal processes. In the nearest future they will be settled, and we shall definitely notify all our customers about that. We hope for your understanding and further cooperation. 

    • When will I be able to withdraw the money from my card again?

      We monitor the situation development on a daily basis and will respond quickly to any changes. We hope that in the nearest future the situation will stabilize and we will remove credit cards limits. We shall definitely inform you of any changes. 

    • Can I use my credit card later on?

      Yes, when the situation stabilizes and limits are removed, you can again use your credit card and line of credit to the fullest extent.

  • Payment cards - Debit cards
    • Are there any limits and restrictions on card transactions?

      Yes, to ensure safety and protection of your funds the Bank set daily transaction restrictions (limits), depending on the type of payment card and place of card use (ATM cash withdrawal, payments by card in sales and service networksand via Internet).

    • Who and in which way can change the daily limit towards an increase?

      - Clients, holders of the Bank payment cards, who are on the territory of Ukraine – cannot change the limit.

      - Clients who are outside Ukraine can raise their limit to equivalent of 100 thousand UAH in accordance with standards established by the NBU.

    • How much cash can I withdraw from the card at the cash desks of the banks branch offices?

      In cash departments of the bank branch you can withdraw cash amount, which is set in Tariffs. If you need sum in excess of the specified amount, it is necessary to pre-order cash and to write corresponding application at a bank branch. We need two working days to prepare the cash amount especially for you. If you need to withdraw money in foreign currency, then it is allowed to carry out transactions within amount equivalent of 100 thousand UAH daily. These limits were established by the Resolution of the NBU No.324 dated 07.06.2016.

    • Why has the Bank increased foreign currency exchange rates for payment card transactions?

      Commercial exchange rates for foreign currencies are determined based on the market situation. For payment card transactions, the exchange rates in our Bank are commensurable with exchange rates in other banks, and are not higher than market rates. Such exchange rates are adjusted on a daily basis.

    • Can I withdraw cash from the ATMs of other banks?

      Yes, of course, you can. In this case, you should be informed about the conditions of the bank, to which belongs the ATM that you are planning to use. Make sure, that this bank doesn’t have limits for the withdrawal of cash from the other banks’ cards.

    • Can I pay with this card at retail outlets, make non-cash payments and money transfers?

      Yes, you can pay with Platinum Bank cards in shops, via Internet, as well as to perform transfers. Daily limits are set for such operations, amount of which is determined in Tariffs.

  • Decree No.49/172/Foreign currency
    • Is the Decree No.49 still in effect? It was said to be terminated on 28.03.14. Can I already withdraw my foreign currency deposit?

      In order to stabilize the situation in the market, on 28.03.2014 the NBU has issued Decree No.172. This document has prolonged limitations on foreign currency operations until 01.05.2014. According to the Decree, per 1 day, you can get foreign currency at the cash desk of the branch office only in the amount not exceeding the equivalent of 15,000 UAH, according to the exchange rate of the NBU. If you wish to withdraw the full amount of your deposit in foreign currency, you’d have to do so in parts, each not exceeding the equivalent of 15,000 UAH.

    • I am your client and I need to buy foreign currency. I heard it could take about 5 days. Is it true?

      No, Decree No. 172 has cut this term. If you are a legal entity or an individual-entrepreneur (sole proprietor), the purchase of foreign currency will not take more than 2 working days. The process of purchase is done according to the following scheme:

      • The client must transfer the corresponding sum of UAH to the separate account 2900 at the bank;
      • The funds must remain on this account for no less than two days after the day of transfer;
      • The purchase of foreign currency is possible no earlier than the third operational day after the transfer of UAH to the account 2900;
      • Purchased currency is transferred to your account on the same day.
    • What maximum amount of USD can I buy at the cash desk?

      According to the NBU Resolution No. 758 dated 01.12.2014, within one transaction day a client may purchase foreign currency at a bank cash desk in the amount not exceeding UAH 3 000 in hryvnia equivalent, subject to the bank exchange rate. The NBU has established such requirements for the purpose of stabilizing the situation in the banking sector and protecting the clients. The said restriction shall be in effect until 03.03.2015

    • Can I make money transfers in all types of currency across Ukraine? Are there any amount limitations?

      Yes, as an individual you can make money transfers to your accounts within Ukraine. There are no limitations for the amount of the funds transferred for our individual clients.

    • How long will the restrictions be in effect for the withdrawal of deposits in foreign currency?

      According to Decree No. 758 of 01.12.2014, current restrictions will be in effect until 03.03.2015. We’ll keep you informed about any changes in the situation.
