Child’s drawing competition
In 2010 Platinum Bank became a general financial sponsor of the child’s drawing competition “How I See My Ukraine”. The organizer of the event became “Media Pro” Ltd with the support of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Little participants had to draw what in their opinion can best reflect the heart of Ukraine. The winners were determined by the interactive vote on the website of “MEDIA-PRO” and by the creativity
The children in the age from 5 to 16, whose works were divided into 2 age groups: 5-9 years of age and 10-16 years of age participated in the competition. Only the author’s works, that complied with the conditions of the contest could participate in the competition.
The results of the contest were announced at the ceremonial meeting on the 27th of August 2010 in “Ukrainian House”, Kiev.
The visitors of the event had an opportunity to see the exhibition of 50 paintings that were selected through online-voting. The
The winners are: Prysyazhnuk Yaroslavna (Zhitomir), Garyn Tykhon (Lviv), Zaytseva Masha (Kharkiv), Yefremov Alosha (Kramatorsk, Donetsk obl), Andreevskiy Ristyslav (Lviv) – in the young age category (5-9 years of age) and Chasovitina Anastasiya (Yevpatoriya, AR Crimea), Grygoriy Alla (Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskiy), Yefremova Anastasiya (Kramatorsk, Donetsk obl), Sulaeva Kseniya (Rubezhnoye, Lugansk oblast), Sotnikova Kristina (Merefa, Kharkiv obl) – older age category (10-16 years of age).
Gran-prix received Nekludova Lada (Dnipropetrovsk) and Voloshyn Oleksandr (Okhtyrka, Sumy obl). Also the winners in the special nominations were awarded by Kseniya Simonova and the partner of the contest Foundation of R. Akhmetov “For Development of Ukraine” who introduced a separate nomination for children that are brought up in boarding schools.
After looking through the pictures of the finalists and participants of the contest one can say with confidence that the children are the mirror, where you can see everything that goes on in the society. Summarising the results of the competition the organisers assured that we can look into the future with confidence as far as the children painted their country prosperous, wealthy and happy regardless all the negatives that sometimes we could see in the paintings.
